Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya announced that the ban on entering forest areas in Istanbul has been extended until 24.00 on Thursday, September 30, as part of the fight against forest fires.
Governor Yerlikaya thanked the Istanbulites who followed the rules and stated as follows:
“As part of the fight against forest fires in Istanbul,
The ban on entering the forests, taking breaks in and around the forest, picnicking, has been extended until 24.00 on Thursday, 30 SEPTEMBER 2021.
I would like to thank our fellow citizens who follow the rules."
