“Precious Istanbulites, my dear citizens, in 2016, on the night of July 15, our nation wrote a historical epic that will not be granted to any community in any other geography, with the love of the country, the power of faith and by the grace of god.
Against the coup attempt launched by a handful of FETO traitors who infiltrated our heroic army; people from 7 to 70, women and men, elderly and young banded together.
People flocked to the streets with the love of country by following the historical call of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who believes that there is no power above the will of the nation.
Citizens didn’t let FETO who wants to attack to national will, democracy and independence and they reveal their lives, the valuable asset, to protect the nation, the flag with star and crescent and the faith.
Those who betray our state, flag, nation, our national will and democracy will always find a strong Turkish nation.
As long as we maintain our brotherhood, unity and solidarity, national and spiritual values, hope, belief and excitement about our future alive.
On the occasion of the July 15, Democracy and National Unity Day, we commemorate especially the founder of our republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and heroic comrade in arms, on July 15 and all our cherished martyrs with respect, mercy and gratitude. God bless their souls.
We present our gratitude to our glorious veterans once again.
We will not forget July 15, we will not let anybody to forget!
Stay healthy…”
