Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya and his wife Hatice Nur Yerlikaya paid a visit to the family of Fahrettin Yavuz, one of the heroes of July 15.
On the night of the July 15 coup attempt, Fahrettin Yavuz, who ran to the TRT building in Harbiye when he heard the fake coup declaration on television, left behind a Mauritanian wife and two children.
Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya and his wife Hatice Nur Yerlikaya visited the house of martyr Fahrettin Yavuz in Şişli and met with the family of our martyr.
During the visit, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a phone call with the family of the martyr.
After the visit, Governor Yerlikaya stated on his social media account as follows:
"Fahrettin Yavuz was martyred on July 15th for the sake of homeland, for the love of Turkey.
Leaving behind his wife Meryem, whom he met and married in Mauritania, and their sons Mahmut and Ali.
And on the 10th anniversary of their marriage...
They are entrusted to this nation.
We have not forgotten, we will not let them forget.❗️”
